ITV and Video Conferencing Policies

HSEC 2-110

Health Sciences Classroom Services provides Interactive Television (ITV) and Videoconferencing support for credit courses at no charge to the schools.

Moos 1-450
Moos 1-450

Videoconferencing / ITV capable rooms include Moos 1-450, 1-451, 5-125; Mayo Auditorium and 3-100.

  1. ITV credit courses have first priority in these rooms. ITV classes are classes that require the assistance of technical personnel for the videoconference connection.
  2. If your class or conference is NOT an Videoconferencing/ITV event, you can request access to the room after the ITV cutoff date. The ITV cutoff date is six weeks before the start of the semester in question. After that date, non-ITV events will be considered.
  3. Priority will no longer be given to any department regarding scheduling these rooms.

We facilitate videoconferencing connections outside of credit courses as staffing allows. In the past, we have provided ITV support for faculty development, dean presentations, health sciences programming and meetings. We have a small number of staff to support these services and are not able to meet all demand. Priority is given to those requests scheduled well in advance of the event.
