HSCS works to address the scheduling needs of all UMN schools, inclusive of undergraduate, graduate and professional level courses.
Course Scheduling
Collaborative Class Scheduling (CCS)
CCS is used to build credit-bearing course schedules for each academic term.
- User training and support for CCS is offered through Academic Support Resources (ASR).
- General instructions and other CCS user resources are provided by the Office of Classroom Management (OCM).
CCS Production Calendar
Course schedulers are expected to follow the CCS production calendar to stay on track with course building each academic term, and allow time for HSCS to assign adequate space to classes as applicable.
Final Room Assignments
Weeks before the semester begins, review the Class Search for your department to ensure all classes requiring a classroom have been assigned a room.
Although a course may be visible in CCS and on OneStop, room assignments are not finalized until a few weeks prior to the semester.
